MABIS 3M Littmann Stethoscope Identification Tag, Black

My granddaughter just finished her first two years of college and has been accepted into Nursing school at her university! a BIG DEAL! She was told to get a stethescope I wanted her to get the best available, she found what she wanted on Amazon at a very good price and free shipping. She is thrilled with it and is checking everyone in the family. I am sure she will get years of use from this product and the name tag that attaches to it. 3M Littman is a great product.

This Littman stethoscope works well. My only disappointment is that I ordered a purple color and it looks more like a dark blue.This is the real deal. been using for a couple weeks now. So this is not a fake littmann. I used an HP for years which has great acoustics and very loud. This one is nearly as loud. You do have to put some pressure on the chest to get the higher pitched tones from the diaphragm. A little different from my HP in that respect. Construction is solid though. The weakest part is probably the spring between the ear pieces, so hopefully if I am careful I don't wear it out too soon. I would get the same again. No need to spend more for more expensive models.

Bulb Syringe Aspirator

This is the same bulb we got from the hospital when my daughter was born. I like it simply because it's very easy to squeeze. We've had other aspirators that are simply difficult to press, making sucking boogers out of your fussy child's tiny nose more of a chore than it already is. Hard to write a raving review for a manual aspirator, but this is the best one we've used.

Mabis Self-Taking Home Blood Pressure Kit

The cuff is such that one person can operate the apparatus. Meter is easy to read. Fast service and reasonable price. No need for batteries. Product registration and BP chart was included with package. Directions for use were clear and easy to follow. Was what I expcted.

We bought this thermometer but when it arrived it didn't work. We figured that since the thermometer was so inexpensive, it would be cheaper to just replace the battery rather than pay to send the thing back. Well, even after the battery was replaced it only worked for about a month. I think we finally got disgusted and threw the thing away. A total waste of money!

MABIS FETAL STETHOSCOPE

I bought this because it was 'Amazon Prime' and it was labled 'Fetal Stethoscope'. It is a sorry excuse for a stethoscope. 1) The tension is so tight it hurts my ears, 2) the ear pieces are very hard plastic which is also painful, 3) If you fail to put the ear pieces in the 'right way', you will hear absolutley nothing, 4) poor quality, can hardly hear my own heartbeat, and I never heard the baby's. My advice, don't buy it. You will only be frustrated.

TO GET THIS BP CUFF TO WORK YOU HAVE TO CONTINUALLY HIT THE ON BUTTON AND FINALLY THE LIGHT COMES ON. BOYENSI bought this locally as a birthday present for my wife who has had high blood pressure readings lately. She is low vision, so I thought the talking blood pressure monitor would be perfect for her. This model even comes in a nice plastic clamshell carrying case (like a new wrist watch) and seems to be well-made. However, my wife and I both tried it about 10 different times and got an error message every time. It doesn't feel like it's inflating enough to get a reading and we wonder if we got a defective model, but it's going back to the store and I'm going to look at another talking model.
